The former president's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf Debut
This young athlete boasts considerable online following
The young golfer will have multiple well-known backers as she makes her professional golf debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, received a sponsor's invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, possesses multiple international courses and regularly plays against his granddaughter.
"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we play competitive games," she mentioned.
She mentioned that Trump, who cannot attend, told her: "Just don't get nervous."
"My grandpa essentially suggested to play and enjoy myself," she continued.
"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with presidential duties, making him rather occupied."
Being non-professional, the golfer has competed in a mere three competitions in 2024 and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
But she's able to get advice from 15-time major champion, who is dating her mother.
"He is the best player worldwide," Kai stated.
"And he's a superior individual. He told me to play, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."
She'll challenge several most prominent players in the sport at the Annika, including world number two Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence exposes the sport to wider groups, particularly reaching younger fans.
Kai has millions of followers and has started a personal fashion and living brand.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
